Job summary

Waukesha County Health & Human Services is seeking a Mental Health Professional for the Youth Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) program in Waukesha. Preference will be given to candidates who are at least fully licensed as an LCSW, LPC or LMFT at the time of application.

The role involves providing individual, group and family psychotherapy, developing and evaluating recovery plans, and coordinating with families and community agencies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology (clinical, counseling, educational) or social work.
• Advanced Practice Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor in Training, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Training at minimum.
• Two years of post-bachelor work experience in psychology, counseling, social work, or related area.

Responsibilities

• Provide Mental Health Professional duties as outlined in governing standards.
• Provide clinical consultation to program Service Facilitators to ensure consistent treatment for youth and families.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate service plans with recovery teams; review DSM V diagnoses as applicable.
• Attend family team meetings and CCS interdisciplinary recovery team meetings.
• Provide psychotherapy (individual, group, and family) per recovery plans; maintain confidentiality and ethics.
