The Circuit Court of Jackson County, Missouri, seeks a qualified youth services caseworker to assess rehabilitative needs and develop treatment plans for youth and families. You will supervise youth, conduct home and school visits, and document progress through detailed reports, while collaborating with court staff and external partners.

Candidates must hold a related bachelor's degree and have demonstrated experience in social work or psychology principles to effect behavioral change.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of counseling and treatment modalities and adolescent behavior.

Responsabilités

• Assess and determine habilitative and rehabilitative needs of youth and families using interviews, case history and evaluations.
• Develop and implement treatment plans to improve personal, social and emotional well-being.
• Maintain regular contact with youth to supervise progress and respond to needs.
• Transport youth to home, school and field visits; may operate a court vehicle.
• Prepare narrative reports documenting actions, progress and outcomes.
• Attend court and meetings; coordinate with school officials as needed.
