Job summary

Brightpoint is seeking a Youth Evolvement Specialist (ISY) in DeKalb, LaGrange, Noble and Steuben counties. Hours are 7:30am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday, with some nights and weekends.

Starting salary is $51,480. The ISY Specialist recruits, enrolls, and supports eligible youth to achieve academic success, career readiness, and self-sufficiency, providing case management and career guidance under WIOA youth program requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in social services or a related field.
• Experience working with youth and knowledge of adolescent development.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Willingness to work in a high accountability, performance-based program.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management software.

Responsibilities

• Recruit eligible youth through partnerships with schools and community organizations.
• Provide case management, career guidance, and program coordination per WIOA youth requirements.
• Develop Individual Service Strategies for participants and track progress.
• Assist with career planning, resume writing, and interview preparation.
• Coordinate work experiences, internships, and job placements.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the program data system.
• Conduct follow-up with youth for at least 12 months after program exit.
