Job summary

Dynamic Workforce Solutions seeks a Youth Career Navigator to deliver career counseling, placement and case management to eligible youth under WIOA guidelines. You will conduct outreach, run workshops, collect eligibility documentation, and help participants access education and training aligned with career pathways.

The role involves managing a caseload, coordinating with partners, and documenting progress in the KansasWorks MIS system to ensure program integrity and positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Social Service or HR, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in Workforce Development or Career Counseling preferred.
• Bi-lingual Spanish and English highly beneficial.
• Valid driver's license and adequate vehicle insurance required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and accurate data entry.

Responsibilities

• Deliver career counseling, job placement, and case management to youth job seekers.
• Conduct outreach to recruit participants and explain eligibility and procedures.
• Facilitate pre-employment/work-readiness workshops for individuals or groups.
• Collect documentation to determine eligibility per laws and policies.
• Assist participants with career exploration and access to training opportunities.
• Build and manage a caseload and support work-based learning placements.
• Provide job placement and retention services.
• Document progress in the KansasWorks MIS database.
• Coordinate with partner sites and other workforce programs as appropriate.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable regulations and program policies.
