Job summary

Dynamic Workforce Solutions is seeking a Career Navigator to connect job seekers with employers in the Olathe area. The role focuses on developing local candidates through planning, program services, and referrals, within WIOA youth, adult and dislocated worker programs.

You will interview customers, assess service needs, create employment plans, coordinate trainings, and help remove barriers to employment while maintaining accurate case notes and compliant records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 2 years in staffing/recruiting or workforce development with at least 1 year using computer systems for data entry.
• Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of employment and recruiting practices; assess employability and gaps.
• Must have valid driver's license and adequate vehicle insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide employers with qualified candidates by developing local job seekers through planning, services, and referrals.
• Make appropriate connections for job seekers to open positions resulting in employment.
• Help businesses recruit the best applicants for their jobs.
• Interview customers to assess service needs and plan next steps.
• Develop individual employment plans, referrals to jobs, and training.
• Maintain accurate case management and document all interactions.
• Ensure case files meet programmatic requirements.
• Liaise between customers and service providers to deliver results.
