Job summary

New Horizons, a nonprofit serving adults with disabilities in the San Fernando Valley area of California, seeks a self-starter for the Youth Navigation-Career Pathway Navigator. This part-time role offers flexible 20–29 hours per week with an hourly rate of $21–$22.

The Navigator will support youth through pre-employment services, travel training, and community-based programs, delivering person-centered services across school settings, NH campuses, and in the community.

Qualifications

• Must speak English and be authorized to work in the United States.
• Driver's license for 3+ years and must be at least 21 years old.
• Experience with adults with developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and secure student job site placements to fulfill work experience requirements.
• Pre-Employment Services: facilitate activities aligned with student interests, strengths, and goals.
• Provide back-up support for other Youth Navigation programs as needed, at main campus or satellite offices.
• Complete daily notes per Youth services program on Knack and follow weekly schedules.
