Job summary

New Horizons in California is seeking a Youth Navigation-Career Pathway Navigator for a part-time role (20-29 hours/week) in the San Fernando Valley and surrounding areas. The navigator will support Pre-Employment services, travel training, and digital literacy efforts, delivering services in schools, NH Campus, and community settings.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma, English fluency, a valid driver's license, and authorization to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English and able to communicate effectively.
• High school diploma required.
• Driver's license for at least 3 years.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and secure student job site placements.
• Complete and report program notes in Knack.
• Support Pre-Employment services and travel training.
• Engage families, students and staff; report updates to supervisor.
• Promote NH programs in community settings.
• Assist in Camp CapAbility and Summer programs.
