Job summary

Career Path Services seeks a dedicated Pre-Employment Career Navigator to help young people with disabilities explore career options, build confidence, and plan for postsecondary steps. The role involves delivering group workshops, adapting curricula, and coordinating with schools and DVR counselors across multiple Tri-Cities sites.

You will create accessible, engaging lessons, track progress, and ensure documentation meets DVR requirements while collaborating with partners to broaden

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with youth, transition-age young adults, and/or individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Ability and comfort facilitating groups, presenting information, or leading activities with youth or young adults.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for accessibility and respect in all interactions.
• Ability to organize work, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain timely documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver group-based Pre-ETS workshops in schools and community settings including Job Exploration Counseling and Workplace Readiness Training.
• Create and adapt lesson plans and instructional materials aligned with student needs and DVR expectations.
• Facilitate engaging, interactive learning experiences to support skill development and career readiness.
• Develop new workshops and curriculum aligned with DVR Pre-ETS requirements.
• Coordinate scheduling and communication with DVR Counselors, school districts, and partner agencies.
