Job summary

Rite of Passage Team is hiring a Youth Care Worker at Lake Granbury Youth Services in Granbury, Texas. This role provides safety and around-the-clock in-person supervision of youths in a secure residential facility and supports their physical, personal, and health needs through direct care and counseling.

The position offers competitive starting pay of $18.50 per hour, comprehensive benefits, a 401(k) match after one year, and a $1000 bonus after completing Essential Skills training within 90

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Pass a criminal background check and required health screenings.
• Be able to pass the child abuse registry search.

Responsibilities

What you will do: Youth Care Workers provide safety and around-the-clock in person supervision of youth at a secure residential facility. In this role, you will provide for the physical, personal and health needs of each youth through individual counseling and skill development. Youth Care Workers provide an atmosphere that is supportive of the youth’s needs; monitor and document behaviors and activities; and participate and assist with educational, social, athletic and recreational activities. Youth Care Workers collaborate with other professional staff to establish and meet the goals of each youth's treatment plan.

To be considered you should: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent - Be at least 21 years of age - Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test - Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.

Schedule: 3.5 days per work – (3) 12-hour shifts and then 1/2 Day. Day-shift: 7am-7pm Night-shift: 7pm-7am
