Methodist Home for Children in Franklin, NC seeks a Youth Care Worker for part-time nights to support adolescents in a residential setting, guiding routines, teaching life skills, and maintaining a calm, structured home.

As a Youth Care Worker at our multipurpose home in Franklin, you’ll help guide adolescents who need structure, support, and steady leadership. You’ll be part of a crew that teaches life skills, keeps the home running smoothly, and helps young people build confidence and direction.
This is hands-on work. It’s active. It’s team-oriented. Itmatters.
Provide steady guidance: Use our proven model of care to support youth through daily routines and challenges.
Maintain a safe environment: Supervise activities, keep the home organized, and help create a calm, respectful atmosphere.
Work as part of a team: Coordinate with coworkers, families, volunteers, and community partners.
Lead by example: Show young people what responsibility, respect, and good decision-making look like in real life.
Age 21+
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience working with youth (coaching, mentoring, community programs, or similar roles all count)
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable record
Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and extended shifts when needed
