Job summary

Boys Town seeks a Youth Care Specialist to supervise and support youth, maintaining a therapeutic PEM-based milieu and a safe environment. You will document behaviors and participate in group activities, while modeling positive skills and boundaries.

Evening and night shifts are available with weekend rotations; qualifications include a high school diploma, CPR/PEM training, and eligibility for pre-service personal restraint criteria. Benefits include 401K matching and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR, PEM, and personal restraint model criteria must be met during pre-service training.
• Requires minimum age of 20 and immunizations per Employee Health.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and safety for youth in program and non-program areas.
• Document youth behavior and activities with specific language within timelines.
• Model appropriate social and life skills and maintain professional boundaries.
• Participate in group activities and staff development; communicate effectively with supervisors.
