Job summary

Thompson is seeking a Youth Care Specialist to support youth in residential programs in the Nashville area. You will supervise and build therapeutic relationships, ensuring safe, structured environments and attending to physical and emotional needs.

The role requires 1 year of relevant residential or child-and-family services experience, HS diploma (Bachelor’s preferred), and a valid driver’s license. Full-time with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Driver’s License and meet credentialing standards
• High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience in residential youth or related field is required or preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise, support, and build a therapeutic relationship with youth
• Provide direction, structure, and support for physical and physiological needs
• Engage with youth, schedule activities, maintain safe environments, and complete daily documentation
• Transport clients as needed for appointments and activities
