Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Youth Care Specialist to supervise clients daily in a therapeutic setting in Fort Worth, TX. The role supports physical, emotional, academic, medical and relational needs and helps clients meet service plan goals.

Responsibilities include life skills coaching, crisis intervention, scheduling, and collaboration with caseworkers. Requires a high school diploma or GED, 6 months direct care experience, and a Texas driver’s license; 8–25 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED. Bachelor's degree in a human service field preferred.
• Experience: Six months of direct care and positive guidance experience with youth, young adults, or families.
• Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and be willing to transport clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and a therapeutic environment for clients.
• Assist with daily living tasks and life skills development.
• Deliver behavioral support and crisis intervention as needed.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Maintain safety, confidentiality, and program standards.
• Complete required documentation and reporting.
