Job summary

Child Saving Institute seeks a Youth Care Specialist for our Mary Holland Campus. You will provide a safe, therapeutic environment for youth 12-19, supervise daily activities, and ensure program guidelines are followed.

Responsibilities include medication management per procedures, trauma-informed support, and documenting records across shifts. Prior experience in residential child services is preferred; no nights or weekends required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in Human Services with children at risk and residential work strongly preferred.
• Minimum age 21 and ability to work with youth in crisis.
• Must have valid auto insurance.
• No nights and no weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, therapeutic environment for youth ages 12-19.
• Maintain supervision and adherence to the program schedule.
• Medication management according to program procedures.
• Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with youth.
• Document records and incident/ restraint reports as required.
• Promote professional, positive workplace by timely shifts and trainings.
• Handle crises using CPI and other techniques while maintaining therapeutic relationships.
