Job summary

Stetson School, part of Seven Hills Foundation, seeks Direct Support Professionals to provide direct care and support to youth in a residential setting. You will help create a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment where young people can grow, heal, and succeed.

You’ll use CPI nonviolent crisis intervention, de-escalation, and trauma-informed practices while promoting positive behavior and life skills. This hands-on role requires patience, empathy, and calmness in challenging moments.

Qualifications

• Provide direct care and support to students in a residential setting.
• Maintain safety, supervision, and well-being of students at all times.
• Build professional relationships with students while maintaining appropriate boundaries.
• Teach and reinforce healthy behaviors, hygiene, and life skills.
• Support a trauma-informed treatment approach (ACORN model).

Responsibilities

• Provide Direct Care & Support to students.
• Ensure safety, supervision, and well-being at all times.
• Build positive, professional relationships with students.
• Teach and reinforce healthy behaviors, hygiene, and life skills.
• Maintain structure, supervise routines, and transitions.
• Complete shift notes and required documentation accurately.
