The Youth Care Specialist is a direct care staff position responsible for the daily activities of the FSS licensed group home, Providence House, which includes facility and program documentation, implementing house rules and behavior plans, and providing for the safety and well-being of residents. This position has an emphasis on engaging high-risk youth assigned to the home in overcoming obstacles that contribute to placement instability.
Education: A High School Diploma or GED required. An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field preferred.
Experience: At least one (1) year of experience working with at-risk children
Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: Valid driver’s license.
