State of Utah is seeking a Full-Time Juvenile Services Worker in Salt Lake City to support youth in custody and coordinate activities within the facility. The role requires rotating shifts and emphasizes de-escalation training, safety, and clear communication.

Competenze

• Availability to work rotating shifts (days, swing, graveyard, weekends, holidays).
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Speaks multiple languages is preferred; Utah Driver's License required.

Mansioni

• Work closely with youth ordered into the care and custody of JJYS.
• Monitor visitors and residents within the facility.
• Schedule and coordinate activities for the youth.
• Assist the Control Supervisor by making perimeter checks.
• Resolve potentially dangerous situations to ensure safety of staff and youth.
