Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to work rotating shifts, including days, swing, graveyard, weekends and holidays.
• Candidate must be 19 years of age or older.
• Utah Driver's License preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with youth ordered into the care and custody of JJYS.
• Monitor visitors and residents within the facility.
• Schedule and coordinate activities for the youth.
• Assist the Control Supervisor by making perimeter checks.
• Resolve potentially dangerous situations to ensure safety of staff, clients, and the public.
• Participate in New Employee Training and de-escalation training within first 90 days.
