Job summary

Epworth Children & Family Services is seeking a Youth Specialist to supervise youth ages 11-18, support daily routines, and implement treatment plans in a Webster Groves residential setting. You will monitor safety, document progress, and assist in crisis intervention as needed.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, 1+ year experience with at-risk youth, and the ability to obtain a Class E license within 30 days.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience working with at-risk youth.
• 60 college hours in social sciences preferred.
• Class E license (or obtain within 30 days of hire).
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide youth daily activities according to the program schedule.
• Document youth behavior and participation in the database and logs.
• Contribute to and implement individual youth treatment plans.
• Coordinate with therapists, case managers, and supervisors on youth needs.
• Supervise medications and complete related documentation.
• Transport youth to appointments and outings.
• Maintain facility safety and cleanliness; report repairs as needed.
• Perform Safe Crisis Management (SCM) techniques for crisis intervention.
• Serve as training instructor for required agency trainings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
