Job summary

Peckham, Inc. is seeking a Youth Advisor to provide direct care and support for female at-risk youth in the Footprints program. You will contribute to a safe, caring environment and assist with treatment planning, daily routines, meals, and activities.

The role includes reporting, documentation, and collaboration with staff, social workers, and guardians. The position requires 6 months to 1 year of youth experience, a High School Diploma, and the ability to obtain security clearances.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma.
• 6 months to 1 year of youth experience.
• Passing and maintaining security clearances.
• Unrestricted driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and well-being of youth residents; enforce rules and maintain a secure environment.
• Provide guidance and emotional support to help youth cope with trauma and daily life challenges.
• Mediate conflicts between residents and resolve disputes constructively.
• Encourage participation in activities, education, and personal growth programs.
• Maintain accurate records of behavior, incidents, progress, and daily activities.
