Job summary

Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. is seeking a Direct Care Worker to provide direct supervision, support, transportation, and personal care for youth in in-home, temporary housing, or community-based settings.

The role focuses on safety, stability, independence, and daily functioning for youth facing behavioral, emotional, or developmental challenges. The position requires flexibility and strong interpersonal skills to respond to diverse needs of youth and families, along with basic computer skills

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree or higher preferred.
• 1 year of youth-facing experience preferred.
• CNA/CHHA or similar certification preferred.
• Medication administration certification highly preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Current driver''s license and reliable transportation required.
• Basic computer skills and EHR experience a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and support to youth.
• Assist with activities of daily living and transportation.
• Deliver in-home, residential, or community-based services.
• Support safety, stability, and independent functioning.
• Maintain documentation in EHR systems.
• Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams.
