Everstand in Martinsburg, WV is seeking a Youth Care Professional (YCP) to provide direct care and supervision for youth within a trauma-informed residential setting. You will collaborate with clinical, education, and medical teams to foster a safe, structured environment that supports healing and life-skill development.

The role emphasizes building strong relationships, crisis prevention, documentation, and transporting youth to appointments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or AA.
• At least 1 year of employment experience working with children/youth.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

As a Youth Care Professional (YCP) at Everstand, you’ll provide direct care, supervision, and support to youth in a trauma-informed residential setting. You’ll build trusting relationships, create a safe and structured environment, and help young people develop the skills they need to heal and thrive. You’ll work closely with clinical, education, and medical professionals as part of a supportive team. This is meaningful work for someone who is compassionate, patient, resilient, and comfortable working with youth in challenging or emotionally intense situations.

What You’ll Do

Required Education and Experience

• High school diploma, GED, or AA.
• At least 1 year of employment experience working with children/youth or adolescents in child welfare, social services, or a similar setting.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Valid driver's license.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, education, or a related human services field.
• Experience in youth services, behavioral health, residential care, or trauma-informed settings.
• Experience supporting youth impacted by child welfare or other human services systems.

• Wednesday & Thursday: 10:30 PM–8:00 AM
• Friday & Saturday: 10:30 PM–9:00 AM

FE Overnights

• Sunday–Wednesday: 10:00 PM–8:00 AM

FE 2nd Shift

• Sunday: 9:00 AM–10:30 PM
• Monday& Tuesday 2:30 PM–10:30 PM
• Wednesday: 12:00 PM–10:30 PM

BE 2nd Shift

• Wednesday: 12:00 PM–10:30 PM
• Thursday & Friday: 2:30 PM–10:30 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM–10:30 PM

*Schedules may vary based on program needs. This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Weekend, holiday, and inclement-weather coverage may be required.
