Job summary

Nexus Family Healing is expanding to Eugene, Oregon with a new Youth Psychiatric Residential Treatment facility. We seek a Youth Care Professional for 1st shift to support residents and implement treatment plans in a 14-bed facility opening this summer. Location is Eugene, OR with strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and family engagement.

Schedule: Day shift 7:00am–5:30pm, Sunday–Tuesday, 30 hours per week. Pay: $23/hour+ with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old and able to work with at-risk youth.
• Ability to build strong relationships with diverse individuals or communities.
• Open to meeting diverse cultural needs and values.
• Successfully complete Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training.

Responsibilities

• Support and reinforce therapeutic plans for residents in daily living.
• Provide mentorship and supervise resident activities and behavior.
• Collaborate with coworkers on treatment plans and services.
• Adapt interactions to resident phase, privileges and restrictions.
• Ensure safety and maintain a positive, respectful, therapeutic environment.
• Engage families to reinforce positive partnerships and participate in activities.
