Job summary

Ward Home is seeking a Youth Care Worker to guide and mentor transition age youth (16–20) in a residential and community setting. You will teach life skills, help youth meet ISPs, and maintain professional boundaries while protecting client confidentiality.

duties include transporting clients, supervising groups, completing incident reports, and representing the agency in meetings and court as required. Shifts may include weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; HS diploma or GED accepted with related experience.
• Act 33/34 and FBI clearances required.
• Valid PA driver's license, vehicle, registration, and proof of insurance.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Guide and mentor youth to become adults while maintaining boundaries.
• Assist teens in meeting ISPs, conferences, and treatment plans.
• Deliver life skill lessons to youth in the program.
• Administer and document medication for youth.
• Provide transportation for meetings, court, outings, activities, shopping, and appointments.
• Facilitate and monitor group activities on and off site.
• Maintain safety with room and safety checks; document issues.
