Job summary

The FYI Center Specialist will serve as direct care personnel and assist with supervising the children staying at the center. Responsibilities will include conducting visual inspections of children and their living areas, completing daily upkeep tasks, intake processes, engaging in recreational activities, and teaching independent living skills when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Motivational Interviewing training will be provided within 3 months of hire.
• Must become CANS certified within 3 months of employment.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervise children staying at the FYI Center.
• Conduct visual inspections of children and living areas.
• Perform daily upkeep tasks including light cleaning and intake processing.
• Engage in recreational activities with children and teach independent living skills.
• Attend weekly supervision and collaborate with case managers and partners.
• Complete incident reports and treatment plans as required.
