Walton Academy for Growth and Change in DeFuniak Springs, FL is hiring a Youth Care Worker to provide 24-hour supervision for youth in a high-risk residential program for males aged 13–19. Four weeks of paid training is provided.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED with 40 college hours or one year of youth experience, plus a valid driver’s license. Schedule is 3.5 days per week; pay starts at $19/hour with bi-weekly pay and a $1,000 bonus after completing the Essential Skills

Qualifikationen

• Must have High School Diploma or GED and 40 hours of college education or one year youth experience.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
• Experience in organized group activities with youth is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provide 24-hour security and supervision for a high-risk residential DJJ program for male youths aged 13–19.
• Monitor and document youth behaviors and participate in sports/recreation activities.
• Mentor youths and support learning and development within the program.
• Complete four weeks of paid training for new staff.
