Job summary

Integrated Services for Behavioral Health is seeking a CANS Assessment Associate for southeastern Ohio. You will conduct comprehensive CANS assessments for youth across settings, coordinate with families and agencies, and ensure compliant documentation and timely access to services.

The role involves building knowledge of OhioRISE pathways, maintaining EHR records, and traveling within service areas to support coordinated care. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Advanced communication skills, both oral and written.
• Experience in community mental health, child welfare, or related settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive CANS assessments for children, adolescents, and transitional‑age youth (birth through age 21) in virtual, home, school, and community settings.
• Build and maintain knowledge of OhioRISE referral pathways and program offerings.
• Maintain accurate, timely records in the EHR and CANS portal.
• Collaborate with clinical staff, families, and partners to translate assessment findings and next steps.
• Travel within designated service areas.
