Job description

The UFC Gym in Lancaster, PA (inside the Park City Center Mall) Youth Boxing/Kickboxing Coach is responsible for ensuring a positive customer experience. Youth membership is for ages 6-12 years with various skill levels. This position requires availability for 1 or 2 weekday evenings. As a Coach, you and your immediate family receive full gym membership, including unlimited access to all group classes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Sales Execution on Key Metrics:
   • Sell and conduct private & small group training with youth members.
   • Assist youth members and encourage involvement in private training.
2. Member Experience:
   • Be a brand ambassador of UFC Gym and its “Train Different” philosophy.
   • Implement the T.R.A.I.N approach (Timely, Ready, Aware, Inspiring, Noble).
   • Conduct safe and effective private training sessions.
   • Provide boxing/kickboxing conditioning exercises.
   • Teach boxing/kickboxing techniques using heavy bags, mitt work, mannequins, and light sparring.
   • Maintain proper safety protocols at all times.
   • Keep the fitness floor and training spaces organized and tidy.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience instructing and working with youth and youth programs.
• Amateur or professional fight experience.
• Ability to guide and educate youth and parents on programs and expectations.
• Knowledge of company policies, practices, and safety procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
