Job summary

Carolina Therapeutic Services in Columbia, SC seeks a Behavioral Aide to provide one-on-one behavioral interventions across home, school, or community settings, under supervision. You will assist with person-centered planning and deliver services to children, youth, and/or adults.

The role emphasizes confidentiality, collaboration with the team, and ongoing training, with travel for community-based work and flexibility to respond to crises.

Qualifications

• Human service field with less than one year of full-time, post-graduate degree accumulated MH/DD/SA experience with the population served.
• Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree in a human service field with less than two years of full-time, post-bachelor's degree accumulated MH/DD/SA experience with the population served.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct home-based behavioral health services and supports, including therapy for the family.
• Providing direct services for the family as indicated in the Person-Centered Plan.
• Assisting the team leader in monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions as evidenced by symptom reduction and progress toward goals.
• Deliver services in various environments, such as homes, schools, jails (for state funds only), homeless shelters, etc.
