Job summary

First Step Healthcare LLC in Ohio seeks a Youth Behavioral Respite Provider to offer short-term relief to families of youth with behavioral health needs. You will supervise and engage youths in home or community activities, following each youth's care plan and keeping the family informed.

Sessions are 3–6 hours, 10–25 hours weekly, with travel within Morrow County. Mileage is reimbursed. The role requires a valid OH license, background checks, and readiness for after-school and weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Requires patience and calm judgment when working with youth.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Background check and driver requirements must be met.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one supervision during 3–6 hour sessions.
• Plan and lead age-appropriate recreational and community activities.
• Follow care plans and document sessions accurately.
• Maintain confidentiality and report concerns as needed.
• Transport youth to activities in your own vehicle.
• Communicate with caregivers at session start/end.
