Job summary

Boys Town National Research Hospital is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to supervise and support youth in a residential setting. You will implement the PEM model, provide feedback, and document youth progress in a structured environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, current CPR/PEM credentials, and the ability to handle crisis situations with professionalism. Training is provided, with opportunities for tuition assistance and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR, PEM and the nationally recognized personal restraint model must be current during pre-service training.
• Minimum 20 years of age required.
• Immunizations up to date as required by Employee Health.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure safety of youth in residential setting.
• Teach and reinforce positive behaviors using the PEM model.
• Provide documentation of youth progress and behavior.
• Lead group activities and therapeutic routines.
• Respond to crises and maintain professional calm.
