Job summary

Pathways is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to deliver one-to-one services for children and adolescents with emotional or behavioral disturbances. You will travel daily to clients' homes or schools, implementing treatment plans and providing behavioral interventions and consequences.

The role includes setting boundaries to prevent dependency and educating families to sustain progress. You will work under the Behavioral Consultant's guidance, helping clients achieve independent functioning

Qualifications

• Certified as BCaBA, RBT, or BCAT.
• 2 years' prior Behavior Health Certification or Behavior Analysis Certification from an organization that is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies or the American National Standards Institute
• High School diploma or equivalent and completed the 40hr RBT Training (RBT Task List) Certification (or ability to complete this within the first 10 days of hire- you will be paid for this training time)
• Minimum of 2 years-experience providing Behavioral Health services

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one services to children and adolescents aged 2-24 with emotional/behavioral disturbances.
• Travel to clients' home or school daily and follow the prescribed treatment plan with interventions and consequences.
• Set boundaries with clients and families to prevent dependency and support parents/adult professionals.
• Educate and train parents/young adults to use skills and provide culturally competent service.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent and completed the 40hr RBT Training (RBT Task List) Certification

2 years experience in Behavioral Health
