Job summary

Apache Behavioral Health Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Technician for the SPIRIT Day-Treatment Program. This role supports at-risk youth through transportation, behavioral health lessons, and documentation, fostering academic recovery and behavioral improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, experience with youth, and strong communication skills. Certification as a BHT is preferred but can be obtained through ABHS training. The position includes a great opportunity to work closely with Apache youth and cultural practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Arizona Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Experience working with at-risk youth is preferred.
• BHT certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Must pass background check, fingerprint clearance, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport clients and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Assist with daily activities, including goal setting and journaling.
• Co-lead SEL/behavior lessons and cultural activities.
• Complete DAP notes, PMRs, and Service Entry Reports.
• Collaborate with clinicians, schools, and community resources.
