Youth Opportunity is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Technician for West Central Ohio Academy in Troy, Ohio. The role involves daily supervision and support of at-risk youth within a gender-responsive, evidence-based program, alongside clinical and educational staff to maintain a safe, structured environment and support treatment goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass background checks, drug screening, and training.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and support youth during daily routines and program activities.
• Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment.
• Encourage positive behavior, accountability, and healthy coping skills.
• Reinforce treatment goals and guidance provided by the clinical team.
• Monitor youth behavior and report changes, concerns, or safety issues.
• Use approved de-escalation techniques to support youth during challenging situations.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports.
• Collaborate with clinical, educational, and other program staff.
• Participate in required training and staff development.
