Job summary

Elizabeth Layton Center Inc in Paola, KS seeks a Youth Specialist to provide supervision and supportive services to youth diagnosed with severe emotional disturbance. Under the direction of a licensed QMHP, you will help youth develop skills through individual and psychosocial group activities in schools, homes, and community settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 40 hours of training in providing supportive services or willing to complete on-site training.
• Security check required by Medicaid regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one psychosocial rehabilitation services for youth.
• Assist in developing and providing structured psychosocial group activities.
• Support personal care goals and treatment plans for specific youth.
• Organize program activities and ensure a safe environment.
• Maintain appropriate records for reporting and clinical purposes.
• Available to work evenings and weekends.
