Gerald L. Ignace Indian Health Center, Inc. seeks a Behavioral Health Program Specialist for the Child & Adolescent Therapy Clinic to support community-based prevention programs and enhance youth engagement.

You’ll work under supervision with the Clinical Director to promote trauma-informed, culturally responsive services for AI/AN youth and families in Milwaukee. The role requires collaboration with program staff, outreach activities, documentation in the health record, and adherence to grant

Formación

• Associate degree in a human service-related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience working with youth and families preferred.
• Ability to travel locally and drive if required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist implementing youth- and family-focused programming.
• Provide mentoring and wellness check-ins for youth.
• Maintain engagement to reduce barriers to care.
• Facilitate Project Venture‑based youth groups.
• Support outreach and education on prevention and wellness.
• Document services in the electronic health record.
• Participate in team meetings, care coordination, and quality improvement.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Educación

Associate degree in human services

Two years of related experience
