Job summary

Gerald L. Ignace Indian Health Center, Inc. seeks a Behavioral Health Program Specialist to support AI/AN community youth and adults through culturally responsive, trauma-informed prevention programs.

You will work with the Clinical Director and Program Coordinator to strengthen engagement and coordinate services within a team setting. Responsibilities include facilitating groups, outreach, data collection, and documentation in electronic health records.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in human services.
• Experience engaging youth and families preferred.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed approaches and cultural responsiveness.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of community-based prevention programs.
• Maintain contact with participants to promote engagement in services.
• Facilitate youth groups using Project Venture curriculum.
• Assist with outreach, campaigns and educational events.
• Document services in electronic health records and tracking systems.
• Participate in team meetings and quality improvement efforts.
