NorthStar Behavioral Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Treatment Liaison to serve as the primary link between community organizations and churches to the youth in our Adolescent Behavioral Health Program.

The role focuses on assessing needs and facilitating access to mental health and substance abuse treatment to ensure continuity of care. This position is full-time in Cincinnati, with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• CDCA Certification in Ohio required; Preliminary accepted.
• Associate’s Degree in psychology, social work, or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license and insurance.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Tuberculosis (TB) skin test and influenza vaccination within the past year.
• Ability to work 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Mon–Fri).
• Ability to frequently lift or move objects weighing up to 15 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Educate youth, families, and community members about behavioral health and resources.
• Attend community events and provide screening services; refer youth for assessments when needed.
• Develop treatment goals and track outcomes to determine efficacy of treatment.
• Teach life skills to support youth development and independence; provide emotional support and crisis intervention.
