Job summary

Delta-T Group is seeking a Youth Behavioral Aide to support high‑risk children and youth with behavioral health needs in Foster Care settings, under the direction of a caregiver or foster parent. You will engage with the youths, assist with schoolwork, and provide line‑of‑sight supervision that is supportive without being overwhelming.

Evening and weekend shifts are available, with long‑term independent contractor or part‑time arrangements.

Qualifications

• Experience working with at risk individuals (paid or unpaid).
• Produce current medical/health documents including: physical examination, Tuberculosis/TB Skin Test, CPR, and First Aid certification.
• High School diploma or higher.
• Arrest or conviction records may be considered in accordance with local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide services for high and at-risk children and youth with behavior and or mental health challenges.
• Majority of work will be in Foster Care Homes, under the direction of caregiver/foster parent.
• Engage with the youths. Assist with schoolwork and ask about their life (likes or dislikes).
• Provide line of sight supervision without overwhelming the child.
• Redirect negative and problematic behaviors.
