Job summary

AMIkids Gainesville is seeking a Behavioral Interventionist to guide and supervise youth in our care, teaching social, self-help, academic and living skills while ensuring safety and adherence to program policies.

You will apply behavior coaching, maintain logs, assist with tutoring when needed, and participate in required trainings and certifications. This on-site, part-time role emphasizes compassion, reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; higher degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and supervision of all youth according to policies and contracts.
• Provide guidance in behavior choices by teaching social, self-help, academic and living skills.
• Use the Behavior Modification System to redirect and coach youth.
• Communicate with team members and document incidents and required notes.
• Attend required trainings and maintain certifications and licenses.

Education
