Job summary

YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking a part-time Basketball Instructor for the Tuckahoe Family YMCA. Help develop and deliver youth basketball clinics for ages 4-11, with duties including leading practices, games, and clinics during evenings and weekends.

The ideal candidate has played or refereed basketball and can communicate with parents and children while ensuring safe, engaging sessions. Compensation ranges from $15 to $17 per hour based on experience.

The Tuckahoe Family YMCA is currently seeking part time sports enthusiasts to help with our basketball program! Looking for a Basketball Instructor who has either played or refereed basketball before. The pay range for this position is $15-$17 per hour based on experience and qualifications. We are looking for someone that can work nights and weekends.

Duties of a Basketball Instructor:

Basketball instructors will help develop and implement safe and enjoyable basketball clinics. Basketball instructors should be available to work weekday evenings and weekends to help facilitate basketball practices, games, and clinics. Ideal basketball instructors will be creating lesson plans for youth ages 4-11, setting up and cleaning up materials & providing leadership to other basketball staff.

QUALIFICATIONS of a Basketball Instructor

Basketball specialists must know the rules of basketball, work well with young people, be able to multitask, and communicate effectively with parents and children.
