Job summary

Deerfield Park District is seeking a Youth Basketball Coordinator to support practices at District 109 schools, monitor gym operations, and assist with setting up schedules.

Evenings, Mondays–Thursdays 6:00-9:00 PM, pay rate $18 per hour with range up to $20; candidates must be 18+, work well in a team, pass a background check, and follow district policies.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with those contacted during work at all levels, including a culturally diverse public with a focus on safety and quality customer service.
• We abide by the IL Park District Code.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Travel to various District 109 schools according to the daily schedule.
• Checking on basketball practices at the schools.
• Checking on the gym supervisors.
• Troubleshooting any problems that arise.
• Provide a high quality of customer service in a professional manner to the internal customer that will facilitate team building and exceptional customer service to the external customer.
• Follow the Deerfield Park District policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Maintains good safety and awareness and follow all security guidelines and procedures.

Our Youth Basketball Coordinator travels to the District 109 schools checking on basketball practices. Checking in with the gym supervisors. Troubleshooting any issues that should arise.

Mondays-Thursdays 6:00-9:00PM
Pay rate: $18.00

Wage Range: $18 -$20, starting pay at the base of range.
