City of Greenville is seeking Youth Athletics Site Attendants for the Greenville Recreation & Parks Department. The role involves setting up and breaking down playing fields, enforcing league and park rules, and ensuring a safe, respectful environment for participants, spectators, and staff.

Candidates must be 18+, able to lift 50+ pounds, and obtain First Aid/CPR within 60 days. Hours are evenings and weekends with flexible scheduling and seasonal terms.

Qualifikationen

• First Aid/CPR certification (required within 60 days of hire).
• Must be able to lift and/or carry more than 50 pounds.
• This position requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Aufgaben

• Arrive thirty minutes prior to scheduled game time with necessary equipment.
• Organize equipment and set up playing fields to ensure games start on time.
• Check the playing area for any safety hazards and address hazards that may occur; report issues immediately.
• Maintain league and park rules.
• Remain unbiased and avoid verbal confrontation.
• Break down fields, pick up trash, and complete the necessary paperwork at the end of each shift.
• Monitor and promote the sportsmanship of participants, spectators, and co-workers;
• Display respect for staff and the facility while providing exemplary customer service and leadership;
• Review and reference the policies and procedures of the Greenville Recreation and Parks Department and the league to remedy situations effectively;
• Perform other duties as assigned.
