Academy Camps in Suffield, CT is seeking an Athletic Trainer to oversee the camp's athletic training needs, collaborating with camp directors, coaches, counselors and medical staff to support youth athletes’ care and injury prevention. The Trainer will move around the campus to monitor wellbeing and provide first aid or emergency care.

Responsibilities include injury record-keeping, maintaining the training room, and delivering rehabilitation programs as needed, within budget and safety

Competenze

• Certified Athletic Trainer with CT licensure or eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field; relevant athletic training coursework.
• Current CPR/AED certification required.
• Ability to communicate clearly within a team environment.

Mansioni

• Maintain records and reports on injuries and treatment programs.
• Maintain training room resources and supplies within budget.
• Interact with parents, campers, staff and host location as needed.
