Hospice Alliance is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate patient care in home and facility settings within our service area. Core hours are 6am to 10am, Monday through Friday, with optional weekend or school-break shifts as available.
You will assist patients with daily living activities, hygiene, and emotional support, collaborating with RNs and the care team to improve quality of life for terminally ill individuals. CPR certification is required.
Reports to: CNA & Hospice House Manager
Hours: Core work hours for this position are 6am to 10am, Monday to Friday. There is the ability to work additional hours as available on weekends and school breaks.

Hospice Alliance Certified Nursing Assistants provide essential support, assisting patients with daily living tasks, personal hygiene, and emotional comfort. They work collaboratively with nurses and healthcare providers to enhance the quality of life for terminally ill patients.
This job requires an employee to stand, talk and hear. There is frequent standing and walking, and occasionally a CNA is required to sit, bend, kneel, stoop or crouch. This position requires frequent use of hands and fingers and may require reaching in front or above shoulders, feeling or grasping. The employee will frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally move 100 pounds.
Work is performed in the field in patient homes, such as assisted living and skilled nursing facilities or any other place a patient calls home located within the Hospice Alliance service area and, occasionally, the Hospice Alliance residential facility. There is a potential for exposure to animals, smoke, unpleasant odors and a vulnerability to contagious diseases or infections. This is a field position and requires driving to within our service area which may present danger in inclement weather.
