We Are Hiring
  • Department: Med/Surg
  • Schedule: PRN, Days
  • Hospital: Ascension Franklin
  • Location: Franklin, WI
What You Will Do

Assist with patient care activities, including:

  • Performing procedures ordered by physicians under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Tending to patients' personal care, activities of daily living, and transfers/transport.
  • Reporting changes in patients' physical, mental, or emotional conditions to nursing staff.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of patient rooms.
What You Will Need

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month (30 days) of hire or transfer, accepted from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Nurse Aide credential from the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry obtained prior to hire or transfer; note that this credential does not require renewal for hospital settings.

Education:

  • Current enrollment in High School and participation in the Youth Apprenticeship program as per school requirements.

Work Experience:

  • No prior experience required; relevant experience preferred.
