A leading company is seeking a Part-Time Youth & Family Advocate to support youth in a shelter setting. Key responsibilities include direct supervision of youth, ensuring safety and well-being, along with documentation of incidents. The Part-Time Youth & Family Advocate works with alleged dependent and/or delinquent youths between the ages of 12-18 being served in the Shelter Division. The part time (YFA) maintains the same job duties and responsibilities as the full-time Youth & Family Advocates. This position is responsible for the direct daily care and supervision of youth. The YFA must adhere to the Child Protective Services Law, the Juvenile Act and the Department of Human Services state regulations. All work is performed under supervision. The YFA part-time position is supervised by the Shelter Supervisor.
