Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. is offering part-time hourly positions in Chicago to advocate for youth and families. The Advocate will initiate, organize, plan, develop and implement direct services using a strength-based wrap-around approach.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in delivering community work and knowledge of community resources.
• Experience working with at-risk youth.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance coverage.
• Bilingual (Spanish speaking) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, organize, plan, develop and implement direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families.
• Utilize wrap-around model to base service plans on participant strengths.
