The National Youth Advocate Program is seeking a compassionate Youth Worker to guide and empower young people in our La Jornada program. You will engage with youth, provide leadership, and create a warm, safe atmosphere while supporting their personal goals.

Responsibilities include completing trainings, documenting activities, coordinating with the Out of School Coordinator, and ensuring positive interactions with youth, families, and team members.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Fluent English/Spanish bilingual能力 preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with minors.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsabilités

• Interact with youth to build trusting, supportive relationships.
• Provide leadership and a caring, safe environment for youth.
• Support youth in achieving identified goals and program tasks.
• Complete required trainings and documentation on time.
• Report issues to the Out of School Coordinator promptly.
• Assist with activity setup and program preparations.
