Job summary

Youth Dynamics in Idaho seeks a full-time Program Manager to lead Adventures programs, staff development, risk management, and administration, aligning with the ministry's mission. The role also involves strategic planning and budgeting within the Business Team.

The position requires fundraising at least 100% of salary via personal support, 3+ years of leadership in adventure ministry, and the ability to train staff and collaborate with the local team. DOE salary applies with benefits.

Qualifications

• Active and growing relationships with Christ and willingness to sign Youth Dynamics Statement of Faith.
• Ability to work independently and within a team to reach organizational goals.
• A degree in Outdoor Leadership and 3+ years of leadership and adventure ministry experience.
• Experience in training methods and learning styles.
• Knowledge of adventure-based ministry theory.
• Skill in rafting, rock climbing, challenge course facilitation and how to use these tools in ministry.
• Skill in training, trip leading, teaching ministry tools such as evangelism and other soft skills.
• Experience in permit management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Collaborative management style and strong leadership.
• Attention to detail.
• Fundraising 100% or more of personal support.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate the Business Team meetings.
• Manage and maintain booking/contracting (Salesforce) systems and the Business Team's strategic plan and budget.
• Maintain ministry financial books and QuickBooks with Finance Director; manage accounts receivable/payable.
• Actively participate on the local Management Team.
